Forum Mersin is the largest shopping center in the city of Mersin and one of the largest in the entire south-east region of Turkey. The Shopping Center project was initialised by Pozcu group all the way back in 1995 whereby the first steps to develop the land (then seperate plots zoned as residential) were set in motion. In order to realize the project Plots were purchased from the local municipality and a new city municipality headquarters was funded and constructed by Pozcu Group. The complete development of the project was finalised in 2005 with full planning permission. In 2006 Pozcu Group after lengthy negotiations agreed to sell the project to Turkmall MDC developers of the Forum shopping mall concept , the first foundations were laid in 2007.

The Shopping center is now owned and operated by Union Investment Group.
